Joining the committee is a fulfilling experience.
You get to serve the local community, support perinatal women and their families and use your passion in a positive way. You can build your career, gain knowlege and skills, develop as a leader and expand your network.
We are looking for members with a variety of skillsets and experience, such as marketing, legal, admin, finance to name a few.
Note there is a legal requirement for all committee members to have a valid Working with Children Check.
What to expect next
After applying to become a commitee member, you can expect the following:
Within 1-2 weeks, someone from the NCMN committee will reach out to confirm receipt of your application and begin the membership review process. This includes review of your adherence to ‘Working with Children Check’ requirements.
Within 3-4 weeks, you can expect to receive an invite to our next committee meeting so we all get to meet you (if we haven’t already).
